Northern Powergrid storage of equipment in Byrness

Please note that the Parish Council has given agreement for Northern Powergrid to store poles and other equipment on Parish Council land in Byrness.
This will be on the tarmac area just beyond the access to the waste water works and the garages. The area will be fenced for safety and will not impede on access to the Ride.
The poles will be used to upgrade the overhead powerline from Byrness northwards towards Whitlees Farm.
The first equipment will be arriving 13 February and it is likely all will be removed when the project is completed in April, 2026
